The apartment is literally on the corner of Mission and Bay, above Sylvan Music. It's across the street from the Mission and Bay bus stop. My boyfriend and I are living in one room, and there is one room available. I'm a 21 yr old, fourth year senior at UCSC studying literature. We're very chill people, we like to spend most of our time in our room and in the bars. We don't party very much, and the most people we would have over would probably be 4 or 5, and that happens very rarely. The room is about 13x12 or so, with a smallish walk in closet. It has windows which face Bay street. There is plenty of parking available. We don't care if you have friends over or make a lot of noise - we just don't want any drama. We also have a 5 month old kitten who roams around the apartment. Your room would be off limits if you wanted it to be.
The room is $650 and the deposit is $1600, which includes first and last month's rent plus $300. Unfortunately the room is not pro-rated. We are looking for someone to move in here ASAP as we cannot pay the entire rent ourselves. At this point we don't really care who moves in or if it's a temporary thing, we just need someone who can pay rent on time. Water and garbage are paid for in the rent - the only bills we have currently are electricity and gas which amounts to about $20 a month so we don't use the heater. We are also in the process of getting an internet connection, but in the meantime we're using the internet from downstairs. We don't have TV but the apartment is cable ready.
